i'm dead bored so i decided to go here and check it out... there's an article about 7 Shockingly Dark Origins of Lovable Children's Characters n i'm just at #7 so far... it's about TMNT and to describe the 4 ninjas, the author wrote..

and no, it's not the foul mouth that got me liking this, it's how cool Michelangelo is portrayed by the author.. i think everyone in the world prefers him compares to the other ninja.. n he's one of my childhood hero =D with the nunchuks n that pizza... i remember going to Disneyworld as a kid and my sister and i have this Minnie Mouse handbag, n i got Michelangelo to sign it and was super excited.. off course it was some random dude in a costume but at that time i was pretty convinced it was him hahaha talk about coolnest... my sister got Minnie Mouse to sign it.. boring.. hahaha

and that's how i feel right now after watching that crappy game this morning.. so not in the mood... i want those golry days back..anyway, managed to finish my Stephanie Plum book last night... owh yeah took me 3 days to finish it.. next up might be Jodi Picoult, but we'll see first.. i'm not so crazy about her books.. Janet books are series so i noe the characters n all.. Lula is one crazylady n Grandma Mazur is a helluva lunatic oldy.. ok the thought of them managed to steer my thoughts away from football for a sec...

anyway, heard this morning that aunty gee's house was broken into.. loads of things stolen, estimated loss about rm15k.. aunty puyah n all slept over with some kids n tok skali so mmg rumah tu pack.. berani plak org tu masuk... they're thinking that dorg kne jampi or something cuz no one noticed the break-in at all.. n there were many ppl sleeping downstairs so it's either that or the intruders were sneaky.. reminded me of that day at PD.. imagine how big our family is n the number of things those ppl got.. handphones mmg letak merata la kt situ with handbags n all... the crazy part was that (i heard la, xtau btol ke x) the police thought it was my mum cuz they found her handbag with everyone's ic in it.. gler ke aper kn huhuhuh

luckily it wasn't one of those psychos who broke into Aunty Gee's house that tie ppl up n have parang ke ape ke.. tok was there so that'll be scary... might visit them tonight.. owh n aunty ozy got snatch last week.. didn't manage to pay her a visit, but alang said she's resting.. hit her head a bit but luckily nothing serious...*sigh*

some ppl are just assholes.. this world will be better off without 'em...

Broga Hill With My Crazy Cousins

another outing with the family... i like school holidays.. family outing during school holidays is a must.. so on Sunday, we woke up at 4:30 am.. too early for me but was excited for the day.. got ready n all n drove to Kajang exit to meet the rest there.. 22 ppl altogether in 5 cars.. Fahmi led the way with his GPS.. singgah surau for Subuh, which we prayed twice sbb blom msk waktu rupanye..n nasib baek pagi2 buta cuz xperasan fahmi nk msk surau, we thot die nk gi lane tunai kt tol.. ended up kitorg kne reverse n u-turn sket kt highway hahaha naseb baek xder kereta... konon nk start naek kol 6, but after all that we reached there around 6:30 am kot...

my sisters n i ngn xder breakfast nyer, n no warm up, terus mendaki... well not before taking group pics first hehehe...fun hike but super exhausting.. the hill was soooo steep it took almost all the energy i had just to climb it.. being unfit adds to my struggling.. haishh... there was this one corner, when u turn n see the top of the hill but also the most steepest part of all, makes u think twice about continuing.. but we managed la.. too bad i didn't burst into a song singing climb every mountain..... hahahaha that'll be epic =b

finally reached the top, but not before getting some cheers from the kazens who were hanging there hehehe yeay made it to the first peak... rest jap n took some pics.. Aina xder sbb kejar camera hehehehe then after some time, debated whether to continue to the 2nd n 3rd peak.. the distance between the 2nd n 3rd looked close so if we went to the 2nd peak, we might as well continue to the 3rd.. at 1st dorg mcm xnk, then last2 we all decided to go.. spotted uncle Aziz (the only parent on board) n told him not to go down hehehe passed through the 2nd peak n reached the 3rd where the boys were... dh jumpe camera, ape lg.. camwhoring session la.. kak long bengang xdpt amek pics sorg2 hahaha nearly impossible la with that company... camera aim somewhere je, everyone lari to pose.. kak long nyorok blakang batu pon ade gk yg sempat menyelit hehehe but the highlight of the day was when Suraya jatuh gedebuk hahaha kesian la but a bit funny... luckily she wasn't hurt, just a bit scratches, and a whole lotta embarrassment =b naseb baek xjatuh downhill or anything.. thanx for making us laugh tho...

lepak a bit at the peak, then it was time to go down... i hiking up a steep hill was hard, i can't imagine how to get down using the same route... luckily it wasn't that hard.. Suraya got stuck at one place tho, takot nk turun or something.. then some mamat helped her down.. ate some ice cream when we reached the bottom, n proceed to our next destination, Sungai Tekala... rm1 per entry hmmm... xperla for maintainance purposes la tu kot.. us sisters xgi mandi sungai, so we just lepak around that area while the others went n play around.. ate sandwiches n nuggets that were packed... terover la plak.. didn't noe kak long had loads of sandwiches.. ended up, byk leftovers...

we were done around 1pm i think (xperasan sgt) then we headed home.. sent Yana first odw, then reached home about 2pm.. penat gler.. but sempat lg bace my Stephanie Plum before i took a shower n tido... dream about nasi lemak hahaha then woke up to izad's voice asking whether i wanted dinner or not... i wanted nasi lemak =b so we went to buy 1 packet, then gi Santai to tapau some food.. didn't feel like having fast food since i had too many of those already... fun fun day indeed.. will post pics later.. still tired from the trip, although i do still take the stairs at Masjid Jamek =b feel like going for another round but izad xnk ikot.. might ask Nik or Jehan la.. i noe, weird that i'm asking my sister's friends n not mine.. haishh..

in the office!! (motif mcm happy??) doing some work in Gamma room, where the screens are bigger, n the chairs are more expensive.. no boss around to bug us.. life would be mush stress-free with a work-life like this =b

esok Broga Hill with the cousins, yeah.. gonna go buy some torch lights later on with my sisters if dorg nk kluar la.. then monday, will be meeting up my college frens.. Anisha is here.. woot!! haven't seen her in more than a year now.. miss her a lot.. hope she'll be fine staying in Hong Kong tho i noe she said is a lil' tough.. u can do it sista hehehe

owh bdw, my Saint got divorce huhuhuh i remember being a high skool girl, drooling over him hahaha siap stalk keta die BEF 240 lg tu.. seen it around ttdi area a couple of times, back when the gang used to lepak at Rasta lamer next to Mobil tu... then this morning, mama showed a picture of him for Al-Hijrah or something.. hotness alert!! =b Amer has been going into that direction with his wife, n mama said he brought his frens along.. (eceh blogging about them mcm dorg kawan jer, padahal xknal) gotta get back to work.. toodles..

Ranting

do you often stop and look around you? taking in the scene, embracing the moment.. or have you ever sit down across the street, n observe passer-by... wondering about how they live their life and what it would be like to live in their shoes..

or have u ever look at urself? watch how u've grown, from this naive kid, to a rebel teenager, and then maturing into adulthood.. 10 years ago, what would've u expected? 10 years ago, i was 14.. i was in St Anne, n thinking that it'll be ages (n by ages i mean 6 years) till i'll end my teenage years.. got my first period that year, was called a lesbian by some girls, was obsess with Hardy Boyz and Lita.. i didn't put much thought about the future... there's no worrying about what courses i would take, what kinda job i'd like to do, prices hiking up.. u noe, grown up stuff... n now here i am, earning my own money (not necessarily doing what i love to do), getting all frustrated with the price hike (a bit), paying bills n basically trying to support myself (in the minimum way possible)..

to look back to where i've been, what it was like back then, it's just overwhelming to think that we have grown so much.. us as a family, us as frens.. bonds grew tighter, bonds break apart..we've seen happier times, we've been through worse.. and at this moment, in some ways, u feel like u're satisfied by how things turned out to be..

I'm Such A Dork

so after hanging at the office yesterday while waiting for my sister, i decided to go to KLCC instead... and what are the odds that the moment i decided to blog about books, i went to Kinokuniya and saw the exact books that i was looking for (the one from Janet Evanovich)... unfortunately, Sizzling Sixteen wasn't in paperback n i ain't gonna spend rm100 on a book that i could get for rm30... i mean it's tempting but with the same content Why Pay More (promote sket hahahaha).. so at the end of the day, i walked out with 2 books.. Finger Lickin Fifteen and House Rule (Jodi Picoult)...

can't wait to continue reading Janet's book... i miss Lula and Grandma Mazur so much... i dun think i've ever been obsess with books as much as i am with the Stephanie Plum Novels... u should check it out.. i could laugh by myself just thinking about it.. great characters, great stories..

All I Want For Christmas

so ok, i don't celebrate Christmas, but is it wrong for me to get excited about it? maybe.. but the colours always brightens me up.. all that sparkles just mesmerise me.. anyway, last year, my department had this exchange gift thingy for christmas n new year.. n just like last year (if they do have it this year, that is) i think i'll be requesting a book... whut do i have in mind?

the latest book from Jodi Picoult.. off course i'd much prefer these instead...

but i have been searching for months (almost a year) for these, i dun think i would want others to go thru hell just getting a book for me (or do i?), so i'd just settle for Jodi instead, which i'm sure would be much easier to get... although after venturing into work life, i dun read as much as i used to (and want to).. yes, i do miss it at times, but i dun really feel like reading now.. i'll just save it for some other time.. and yes, there are still a few books at home that i have yet to read, namely these...

but Cecilia could wait, she hasn't really been my favourite anyway... i can't wait to get in that mood again... to curl up in my bed all day long just reading... to strain my eyes from reading those small letters (yes i have bad eye sight)... to carry it with me all the time as if my life depends on it (hey, i sound like Isa hahaha)... all those things would be worth it after reading the final page, knowing that my 'relationship' with that book will end with a smile of my face, having the satisfaction, to once again, finish what i've started...

Taking A Break

tired.. tired.. tired... even tho i'm doing nothing... i dun feel like writing about how i spent my days off... just wait till i update on Broga Hill.. planned to go there this Sunday with the cousins...

can't wait for the weekend to be here again.. i miss staying @ home huhuhuh

went karok yesterday.. loan ngn yaya hahahhaa no matter how often or how long karok, i think xkn pernah puas... best sgt2, i love screaming my heart out even tho it sounds horrible, mcm nk pecah tekak tarik tinggi2... then jln2 sket n went to KL nk tunjuk my sis the way to Time Square n got stuck in the jam.. hentam jer jln blk but we managed to find our way... before we reached home, sempat singgah OU jap cuz yaya nk bli mouse.. then izad went to sent her shoes for repair..it took an hour for it to be done so jln2 kt OU jap.. n i must say, their Christmas decoration this year is the best of it all... Curve is usually my favourite n they did good... but OU was cuter..it's a bit of a hassle tho if u're wearing high heels... bought Subway for dinner then went home to watch Scott Pilgrim which was so-so cuz i can't really hear whut their saying.. sound effect kuat but the conversations a low...owh n Arsenal won!! woot!! currently leading, thank you =b

didn't do much just now... washed the kitchen n played Sims all day...i asked a vampire to move in with me... had mcd for dinner n watched some tv while my sis braids my hair.. now i'm playing a bit of SL before i'm off to bed.. another week coming along.. i hope i can manage.. i'm actualy tired of it.. i dunnoe how some ppl manage it...

FIFA World Cup Decision

i don't know how it happened.. i'm not sure how they choose.. but seriously FIFA?? Qatar?? and then Russia?? i for one may be bias here, but don't u think England deserve more to host the next World Cup.. i mean out of all countries in the world, England are one of those where football has become a culture.. so fine, i've never been to Qatar before n i don't know what football is to them but England haven't been hosting the Wolrd Cup since 1966 or something... owh well, maybe this is a fresh air to them where the World Cup was never hosted in the Middle East and Eastern Europe... lets just wait for the Cup in Brazil till then....
